Better known for his luxurious ready-to-wear, the Perse sought to recreate the same South California ethos that spawned the skateboard culture back in the 1970s. Individually hand shaped with no two alike, the solid walnut deck features strips of wenge for strength. Coupled with darken trucks and sticky polyurethane wheels in black, the decks come in as 45-inch long board for cruising or make a run at the half-pipe with the 32-inch freestyle board. Both are now available for order as limited edition items at James Perse’s online store.
